Vista Bank - awarded for “Best Performance in Mobile Banking” at the Online Banking Gala 2021

Vista Bank won the “Best Performance in Mobile Banking” award at the Online Banking Gala 2021, for the best dynamics of the mobile banking service, with the largest increases in the number of transactions and values traded.

At the award ceremony, Mr. Cornel Stănescu, Deputy CEO Vista Bank, stated: “The good results obtained by Vista Bank were based on two notable elements. The first, with an impact on the entire system, is the accelerated adoption of digital solutions by customers, against the background of the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to significant investments in digitization and the launch of the new generation of online banking applications in 2019, Vista Bank was prepared to support the rapid transition of customers to remote banking, giving them an improved digital experience, a high level of security, accessible conditions, and reduced trading costs as compared to the classic ones. The second important element comes from the continuous promotion of the use of new online banking services and, of course, from the trust and appreciation with which they were received by our customers. The Online Banking Gala, organized by the Finmedia trust and the Piata Financiara magazine, has reached its XIII edition this year and is an annual event that analyzes and rewards the banks performance in the field of internet and mobile banking services.
