Warning: Phishing messages via WhatsApp in the name of Vista Bank

We inform you that a phishing attempt is circulated via the WhatsApp mobile application. If you receive a message like the one below, DO NOT click on any links, DO NOT submit any personal data, and DO NOT make any money transfers. Cyber criminals use the bank’s image to trick you into clicking on suspicious links or providing confidential data that can put your money at risk. In some cases, you are simply asked to transfer certain amounts of money, under various pretexts, money that goes directly to the criminals' accounts. Note that the bank will NEVER ask you by email/ SMS/ social media/ WhatsApp for banking details (internet banking user, access passwords, bank accounts, card details, PIN / security / Token codes etc.) or to transfer amounts of money in a certain account.
